Local UI Law Students Named To Dean’s List

The following University of Idaho students have maintained a specific grade-point average and a set number of credit hours for spring semester and have been named to the Dean’s List at the UI Law School:

Class of 1996: Genesee: Elizabeth Allen. Moscow: Shari Dodge, Cheyanna Jaffke and James Moore. Sandpoint: John Finney.

Class of 1997: Coeur d’Alene: Paula Harrison. Craigmont: Mary Patton. Deary: Christine Hunt. Moscow: Eric Bjorkman, Robert Kelly, LaDawn Marsters and Carmel McCurdy. Spirit Lake: Michael Ealy.

Class of 1998: Cocolalla: Nancy Luebbert. Coeur d’Alene: Jeffrey Drake. Troy: Tod Geidle.

Charlotte M. Bouley, a teacher at Hayden Meadows Elementary School, recently participated in the Army War College’s national security seminar at Carlisle Barracks, Pa.

Bouley, one of 160 media, clergy, business, government and academic leaders to be involved in the five-day seminar, discussed national security issues with other seminar participants at the Army’s senior educational institution last month.

The seminar is organized to permit War College students to hear civilian viewpoints and gives participants the opportunity to exchange ideas with future military leaders. College class members include 282 military officers, 38 foreign officers and a number of senior federal employees.

Local students were recently recognized with top honors at the 1996 Idaho State Forestry Contest. Post Falls High School: Anna Zemke, Jared Kelsey, Katy Hill, Mellisa Heller and Hannah Currey took first place with 1,400 points. Jack Caughran, Jamison Bruner, Karleine Cramer, Ginarose Ahrens and Ryan Barkman placed second with 1,369 points.

Coeur d’Alene High School: Kirk Leichner, Jennie Allen, Cynthia Jones, Kyle Hubbard and Emily Petera, earned third place with 1,366 points.

Post Falls Junior High Team: Levi Carnahan, Bryan Bugge, Amanda Jones and Jeff Dobson took first place.

Senior Division individual winners included: Anna Zemke, first place; and Jennie Allen, third place. Junior Division individual winners: Post Falls; Bryan Bugge, second place; and Jessica Isenberg, third place.
