Spokane Man Dies In Idaho Rollover

A 46-year-old Spokane man died in a one-car accident Friday night near Nordman, Idaho, when he lost control of his car and it rolled, the Idaho State Police reported.

At 9:15 p.m., Lloyd D. Pankey was driving west on Reeder Bay Road, approaching the intersection with state Highway 57, when the accident occurred.

Pankey was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of his sedan, which slid sideways into the ditch, flipped onto its top and landed on the highway, according to the ISP.

The car hit the stop sign as it careened through the intersection. Police reported that alcohol was involved. , DataTimes
