This Was One Expensive Tryst

Cox News Service

An alleged prostitute is charged with stealing $80,000 from an armored van while engaged in sex with the van’s driver, according to the FBI.

The theft occurred on the morning of July 20 after the driver, Aaron McKie of Wells Fargo Armored Services, picked up money from Bank One for delivery to a branch of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Credit Union, according to a sworn statement by FBI Special Agent Peter A. Lakes.

“McKie had picked up the female for sex and when the … female exited the armored van, McKie noticed that the bag containing the $80,000 was missing from the armored van,” Lakes states in his affidavit for the warrant to arrest Janet Denise Hailey, 40.

Hailey, who remained at large Friday evening, is charged with one count of bank theft.

Wells Fargo said McKie is no longer employed by the company.
