Dozen To Go At Hambletonian

In the weeks leading to the $1.2 million Cadillac Hambletonian, the focus for trotting’s most prestigious race has been on the Big Four:

- Lindy Lane, last year’s 2-year-old colt champion.

- Continentalvictory - the 1995 2-year-old filly champion.

- Mr Vic, who was undefeated until a disappointing loss last weekend.

- Act Of Grace, the filly who recently qualified in a quick 1:53.

The presence of the Big Four has led to the smallest Hambletonian field since 1989. Twelve colts and fillies were entered in the race for 3-year-olds at the Meadowlands Racetrack. The ‘89 race had 11 entrants.
