Telethon Raises Thousands For Kids

The Children’s Miracle Network annual telethon raised $504,232 to help children suffering from everything from cancer to cystic fibrosis.

The 21-hour event was broadcast Saturday and Sunday on KHQ-TV and KDRK-FM.

The Spokane fund-raiser benefits pediatric programs at Deaconess Medical Center, Deer Park Health Center and Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville, the Regional Center for Child Abuse and Neglect, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chewelah, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, Sacred Heart Medical Center, and Valley Hospital and Medical Center.
