Lillian Travis Spokane

Lillian Eleanor (Beardsley) Travis is 100 years old today.

Born June 6, 1896, in Cadott, Wis., Mrs. Travis has lived in the Inland Northwest for 70 years, and at the Regency Care Center for the past four years.

In 1961, she and the late Stuart Travis were married in Coeur d’Alene.

She worked as a practical nurse in nursing homes and was also employed with The Crescent. She played piano and sang at churches and taught Sunday school.

Her children are Dale Kelly and Merle Kelly, both of Spokane. She has 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
