New Payment Station For Farragut Visitors

From Staff And Wire Reports

Visitors to Farragut State Park will have a convenient payment station this summer if they’re entering from the Bayview end of the park.

Instead of driving through the park to pay the entrance fee at the visitor’s center on the park’s west end, vehicles now can stop at a new collection box at the east entrance.

The fee box has instructions on how to pay the fee. The fee is $2 per vehicle or $30 for an annual pass.

Overnight campers will continue to register at the Park Headquarters.

In addition, abandoned roads from the former Farragut Naval Training Station that intersect state Highway 54 have been blocked to reduce confusion about where to enter the park and pay fees. , DataTimes
