The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall

Chancellor Helmut Kohl was treated at a hospital for a bruised shoulder Tuesday, two days after tumbling over a tree root in a forest in southern Germany.

Kohl tripped over the root and fell to the ground during a stroll Sunday in the Palatinate Forest, in the region of southern Germany where he has his permanent home, the Chancellor’s Office said.
