Harvard Student Dies After Fall Through Window

Associated Press

A 25-year-old Harvard University student crashed through a ninth-story window and fell to his death Wednesday.

The student, whom Cambridge police and Harvard officials would not immediately identify, crashed through a sealed glass window of a bathroom in the Holyoke Center building near Harvard Square.

Police and Harvard officials would not say whether they suspected suicide or foul play. Investigators were still on the scene Wednesday afternoon, said Cambridge police Lt. Patrick Nagle.

The student was a doctoral candidate in economics from Russia. An autopsy was planned.
