Early Birds Get Ultimate Movie Discount

If you’re not doing anything else at 9:30 a.m. all through this summer, you might want to take in some free movies at the Garland Dollar Theater.

The discount movie house, located at the corner of Monroe and Garland, is offering a series of morning movies that begins on Monday with the Oscar-nominated feature “Babe” and continues through Aug. 30.

The complete list is as follows (all screenings are free of charge; for further information, call 327-1050):

June 17-21: “Babe.”

June 24-28: “Beethoven.”

July 1-5: “The Princess Bride.”

July 8-12: “The Pagemaster.”

July 15-19: “Hook.”

July 22-26: “Balto.”

July 29-Aug. 2: “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”

Aug. 5-9: “The Sandlot.”

Aug. 12-16: “The Land Before Time.”

Aug. 19-23: “Free Willie II.”

Aug. 26-30: “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
