Jerome Teenager Dies In Climbing Fall

A Jerome teenager was killed when he fell about 30 feet while attempting to climb out of a canyon.

Christian Rundle, 18, was climbing out of Box Canyon with three of his friends when he fell onto a pile of rocks some 30 feet below. A Gooding County Sheriff’s Department dispatcher said Rundle was killed instantly.

The Gooding County Search and Rescue and Repelling Team lifted him 75 feet out of the canyon
