Gem-UIne Idaho Cheese

We all know that Idaho is the Gem State, and Wisconsin is where they make cheese.

So it’s no surprise that when the founders of the Pend Oreille Cheese Company came to Sandpoint from Wisconsin in 1960, they decided to call their product Mountain Gem.

Look for mild, medium and sharp Cheddar, along with jack cheese, at the Sandpoint store and at area markets.

Price: About $3.49-$3.99 for 1 pound.
