Bomber Display At The Airport

Two restored World War II bombers, a B-17 and a B-24, will be on display and ready for inspection at the Spokane Airways Flight Center at Spokane International Airport today from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for children under 12. Though mass produced in the war years, only a tiny number of B-17s and B-24s remain. To find out about going on a flight in one of the four-engine warbirds, call Scott Sanderson at (509) 448-4709. , DataTimes
