Lakers, Kings To Share

Compiled From Wire Services

Kings owners Philip Anshutz and Edward Roski and Lakers owner Jerry Buss have reached a final agreement on sharing Los Angeles’ 20,000-seat arena to be completed in September 1999.

The NHL’s Kings and NBA’s Lakers currently share the Forum, a 17,505-seat arena that opened in 1967.

The site for the new complex has been narrowed to Inglewood and downtown Los Angeles.
