Coeur d’Alene police

Thomas Brown, owner of The Shred Shed, reported Tuesday the $450 theft by deception of merchandise purchased with two forged checks from the business at 512 Sherman Ave.

Albertson’s supermarket reported Wednesday the $753 theft by deception of merchandise purchased with non-sufficient funds checks written to the business at 220 Ironwood Drive.

Patricia Moya reported Wednesday the $6,641 theft of a camera, seven lenses and lens filters from her car while it was parked at Silver Lake Mall parking lot, 200 Hanley Ave.

Floyd Riley reported Wednesday the $1,119 theft of a cellular phone, briefcase and binoculars from his Jeep while it was parked at Panhandle Pizza, 222 Garden Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

Shane Warmington, Rathdrum, reported Feb. 20 the $50 theft of speakers and $2,000 damage to the windows and trunk of his ‘86 Ford Taurus while it was parked near the Fernan Gun Range on Fernan Lake Road.

Frank Caloca, Coeur d’Alene, reported Tuesday the $1,000 theft of carpet from his rental trailer near Athol on the 2200 block of Estates St.
