Three-Car Accident Kills One, Injures Five

One person died and several others were injured in a three-car accident Wednesday night near Pullman, authorities said.

Five people were hospitalized following the accident about 7 p.m. one mile east of Pullman on state Highway 270, the Washington State Patrol said.

No further information was available.

After the accident, the highway was closed at Airport Road near Pullman, the state patrol said.
