Idaho Boys All-Star Game Won By East

Casey Fisher scored 32 points to lead the East past the West 108-97 in the 11th District I boys basketball All-Star game Friday at the Mullan Athletic Pavilion in Mullan, Idaho.

Fisher was named the game’s most valuable player and received a $100 college scholarship. He also captured the slam-dunk title after a playoff with Lake City’s Jon Chatfield.

Lakeside’s Lyle Meshell won the boys 3-point contest with a 7-of-10 shooting performance.

Heidi Umthun of Post Falls had 35 points to lead the West to a 94-40 win over the East.

Umthun received a $100 college scholarship as the game’s MVP. Falls Christian’s Sarah Peterson won the 3-point competition after hitting 10 of 15 shots.
