Former Chief traded to Boston

St. Louis acquired right winger Steve Leach from Boston, sending forward Kevin Sawyer, who played three years for the Spokane Chiefs, and defenseman Steve Staios in exchange. Sawyer had three goals and four assists in 41 games for Worcester.
