Women Held In Stabbing Death

Two women from Washington state are charged with murder in the stabbing of a man found bleeding in the hallway outside of his apartment.

Allen Halverson, 57, died after he was stabbed in the chest several times late Thursday, Cascade County authorities said.

Police arrested Alexsandra Ann Yellowhorse, 22, and Carla Marie Colaras, 32, who moved to in Great Falls recently. In court on Friday, Yellowhorse said she is from Seattle and Colaras said she is from Spokane.

Investigators said robbery was the motive for the killing, but they were not sure how much money was taken.
