Gunman Robs Clerk At Valley Express Mart

A Spokane Valley store was robbed early Sunday when the clerk opened for business.

A man claiming to have a gun confronted the clerk at Express Mart, 2458 Mica Road, about 6:20 a.m. The robber stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

He was described as Indian or Hispanic, in his 30s, weighing about 180 pounds. He had straight, collar-length brown or black hair. He wore a dark stocking cap, camouflage coat and blue jeans.
