A weekend of relaxation and rejuvenation, all for women only.

Sound like fun? It’s the fifth annual Restoration Weekend sponsored by the Women’s Health Network of Deaconess and Valley medical centers.

The retreat focuses on healthy minds, bodies and relationships, according to spokeswoman Priscilla Gilkey.

There will be mini workshops on aromatherapy for stress reduction, handwriting analysis, bird house making, the history of society and women’s shoes … and more.

The retreat at the Coeur d’Alene Resort is March 22-24; the registration deadline is March 15. For more information, call 459-4991.

Cancer seminar

Breast and prostate cancer will be discussed during a seminar Saturday sponsored by District 9 Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in conjunction with Sacred Heart Medical Center and the American Cancer Society.

The seminar, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart’s Providence Auditorium, will feature a luncheon and style show. Cost is $10. Call 458-5236.
