Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I have used many of your hints and would like to share this one that I’ve been using since laundry detergents have been available in liquid form.

After thinking that you have emptied the bottle, close the cap tightly and then turn it upside down on the shelf. The next time you have a medium or small load, there is enough detergent that has come down the sides and corners into the cap. A money saver for sure. - Marilyn Seavey, Scarborough, Maine

Dear Heloise: I cut the perfume sample sheets found in most magazines and put them in our dresser drawers and in between our towels and washcloths. The scent is so soft and fragrant! - Shirley Kerstiens, New Albany, Ind.
