Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: Here is a hint perhaps you forgot in your vinegar pamphlet. It has worked twice for us.

One night we had lasagna for supper and the spoon we used was laying on the counter. The next morning, my husband announced we had little grease ants all over and around the spoon. We tried regular ant poison before with no luck. I had been using vinegar quite often since I got your pamphlet, so I took paper towels soaked in vinegar and wiped up ants on the counter and put vinegar-soaked paper towels where the spoon was and along the wall where the ants were coming in.

Well, we never saw any more of them. - Norma Christensen, Cumberland, Iowa

Your hint just goes to show that the uses for vinegar are unlimited. xxxx
