The 10th of 12 Lilac princesses was crowned Tuesday at North Central High School.
Tanesha Ross, 17, competed for the honor with six other girls.
The princess is an honors student involved in choir and the Mathematical Engineering Science Association. She plans to attend a four-year university in Washington and later pursue graduate studies in business or music. She is the daughter of Dolores Ross.
Once all the princesses are chosen, they will gather at Shadle Park High School on April 13 for coronation of the Lilac Queen.
