Kidnapped Aid Workers Rescued

Villagers rescued five kidnapped aid workers in Somalia, in a gunbattle that left one village boy in a coma with a bullet wound to the head, UNICEF workers said Friday.

Police took the 10 kidnappers into custody. A disgruntled former U.N. contractor in Somalia had led the kidnapping, UNICEF said.
