The council will consider adopting an ethics policy and hiring a consultant to help evaluate the city manager. Council members also will consider setting fines for false alarms and other code infractions.

Spokane Hearing Examiner

Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. regular meeting, second-floor conference room

City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

The hearing examiner will consider a permit to expand Royal Plaza Retirement Center, 302 E. Wedgewood. The expansion includes 34 assisted-living units and 34 parking spaces.

Spokane City Plan Commission

Wednesday, 1:30 a.m. regular meeting, second-floor conference room

City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

The commission plans to review the shoreline conditional use permit proposed by the city of Spokane. The city needs the permit so it can cross the Spokane River with a sewer force main linked to the Clark Street pump station improvement project.

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., briefing with chief administrative officer;

1:30 p.m., regular meeting, consent items, lower level of Public Works Building;

5 p.m., regular meeting, non-consent items, lower level of Public Works Building

Thursday, 9:30 a.m., Spokane Housing Authority;

10:30 a.m., meeting with Scott Smith of US Bank.

Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority retreat at Spokane County Health District.
