Police Arrest Man On Forgery Suspicion

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Spokane man was arrested Friday after he allegedly tried to pay for food at a West Third sandwich shop with a stolen check.

Responding to a call placed by one of the shop’s employees, police found 23-year-old Warren Jason Parker of 605 S. Ivory outside the shop with three acquaintances.

The man had two sets of checks with names and addresses other than his. Police found that the checks had been stolen the week before.

Parker was arrested for possession of stolen property and forgery, and was cited for possession of a marijuana pipe. Parker also had an unrelated outstanding arrest warrant.

The three others with Parker were not arrested.
