Post Falls Levy Seeks New School

TUESDAY, MARCH 26, 1996

Polling places are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today for the Post Falls School District bond levy election.

The ballot is split into two parts. The first part is for a $15.8 million bond levy to build a new high school and refurbish the heating system in the existing high school so it can be used as a middle school.

The second part is for a $1.94 million bond levy to construct an auditorium and athletic complex at the new high school, and expand the cafeteria at the proposed middle school.

The polling places are all Post Falls schools and the Pleasant View Community Center. Residents can register to vote at the polls if they provide identification and proof of residency for at least 30 days (rent, phone or utility bill).
