Martin Wins Second Straight Race

Mark Martin came up with his second straight victory and third in six Busch Grand National starts this season, winning the Goody’s Headache Powders 250 at Bristol (Conn.) International Speedway.

Spokane’s Chad Little, who earned the pole position Friday, finished 12th in his Pontiac and earned $9,510.

At Surfers Paradise, Australia, pole-winner Jimmy Vasser won his second race of the PPG Championship season, leading for all but five laps to take the Australian IndyCar Grand Prix.

Vasser, in his Target Reynard Honda, held off second-place and fellow American Scott Pruett in the 65-lap, 181.675-mile race on the 2.794-mile Surfers Paradise temporary street course.
