Four Men Arrested, Face Theft Charges

From Staff Reports

Bonner County authorities arrested four Chicago men Wednesday after they were caught with about $80,000 worth of stolen electronics.

The men, Joseph Delamora, 19; Francisco Delamora, 24; Carlos Delamora, 28, and Jose Munoz, 29, were all charged with grand theft.

They are being held without bond in the Bonner County Jail.

The four were arrested at a home near Cocolalla, south of Sandpoint. Sheriff Chip Roos said the men had the equipment stored in several vans and wanted to sell it to a resident for $20,000.

One of the men arrested apparently worked for a Chicago company that sold wholesale cable systems and is suspected of stealing the electronic equipment several months ago, authorities said.
