Woman Killed In One-Car Wreck

Compiled From Wire Services

A Bonners Ferry woman was killed Thursday when she drove off the highway, rolled her car and was thrown out of the vehicle.

Lori A. Bloom, 31, died at the scene of the accident.

The Idaho State Police said the crash occurred about 9:15 p.m. while Bloom was driving south on U.S. Highway 95. She had just crossed the U.S. border at Porthill and drove onto the right shoulder of the road. When she jerked the 1966 Ford Mustang back onto the highway the vehicle rolled several times, authorities said.

Bloom, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car as it rolled. The accident is under investigation.
