Mitchell, Koesters’ Identical Rounds Produces Pro-Am Tie

Dan Koesters of the University of Idaho and Chris Mitchell of Sun Dance shot 4-under par 68s to win this weeks edition the Athletic Round Table Pro-Am at the Creek at Qualchan on Monday.

Koesters and Mitchell had identical 36s on the front nine and 32s on the back nine.

Amateur Jim Campasino of Beacon Hill was second with a 69, followed by Mark Rohde, Rohde’s Golf Studio, with a 70. Clint Wallman, Birdies Golf Center, and Dave Christenson, Indian Canyon, tied for fifth with 71s.

Jon Cullen of Wandermere took the low net amateur 0-8 title with a 3-under 69. Pine Acres’ Larry Gelhaus was three strokes back and 11 players were tied for third with 73s.

In the low net amateur 9-13 division, Gregg Lovins from the Creek at Qualchan captured the win with a 67. Two players tied for second with 68s.

Sam Indorff, Manito G&CC, and Steve Dea, Hangman Valley, each shot a 68 to tie for second.

Dave Wheat of the Spokane CC and Steve Vokacek from Twin Lakes Village each shot a 69 to tie for the low net amateur 14-30 title. George Banks and Peter Forsch tied for third.
