Pullman High graduate Will Furrer led the host Amsterdam Admirals to a 28-9 victory over the London Monarchs in the World League of American Football completing several passes on two scoring drives that were capped by runs by T.C. Wright. Furrer also had a 14-yard TD pass.

Cal State Bakersfield junior forward-center Kebu Stewart, the team’s leading scorer and rebounder, has declared his eligibility for the NBA draft. He is the 20th player to make that declaration.
