Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: If you like to take your own pillows along when you travel, purchase a set of brightly colored pillowcases just for this purpose, or use a set of old, odd ones.

You are less likely to leave your pillows behind if they don’t blend in with the motel sheets, and even if you do, you haven’t ruined a sheet set. (A pillow is easier and cheaper to replace than your favorite set of sheets). - Cheryl Butts, Miles City, Mont.

Dear Heloise: My brother-in-law loves to tell people about my cooking ability as a young bachelorette.

He says I was doing fine following instructions on the box of pizza mix until I got to the last one and spent all day outside looking for a “well” to grease! - Yvonne Smith, New Braunfels, Texas
