First Lady Calls For ‘Reasoned Tones’
As the political rhetoric of the presidential campaign heats up, Hillary Rodham Clinton said Saturday that politics should “not give way to extremism and shouting, because we don’t solve problems that way.”
In a commencement address to Drew University, Clinton said “the debate … should be carried out in reasoned tones.”
Abortion foes interrupted the beginning of her speech.
