Man Arrested On Drug Charges

A man was arrested Friday night for allegedly trying to deliver crack cocaine.

Police obtained a warrant and searched the home of Jason Charles Brown, 24.

A Spokane Police Department report states officers found “a large amount” of crack cocaine and cash at Brown’s address, 7108 E. 11th Ave.

The report did not specify the amount of money or the quantity of cocaine officers reportedly found.

Officers also discovered used wrapping material commonly used to package drugs, the report said.

Brown was booked into jail at 9:20 p.m. on charges of possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance.

Brown has various past convictions including assaults, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and malicious mischief.
