State Honors Library Historian
Washington state’s Historic Preservation Office has chosen Spokane Public Library historian Nancy Compau as winner of a heritage preservation award.
Compau is primary resource manager of the Spokane library’s Northwest Room.
The annual awards are presented to individuals and groups making notable contributions to preserving state and regional heritage.
Other Spokane winners are Wells & Co. Construction and Integrus Architecture. Both were honored for “outstanding special achievement in creating the Carnegie Square Project in Spokane.”
