TNT’s telecast of Game 2 between Orlando and Chicago Tuesday night was seen in about 5.8 million homes, the most to watch an NBA game on cable TV.

TNT did an 8.6 Nielsen cable rating for the game, second highest ever on cable, Turner Sports said.

The highest-rated NBA game on cable was 8.8 on TBS for Game 5 of the Detroit-Boston series in 1988.
