U.S. Team Selected

Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Monica Seles will lead the U.S. Olympic tennis team at Atlanta.

The men’s team will also include MaliVai Washington and Richey Reneberg. The other members of the women’s team will be Chanda Rubin, Lindsay Davenport and Gigi Fernandez. Selections were based on computer rankings.

Jim Courier and Michael Chang declined to play, preferring to concentrate on Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
