Bobby Labonte proved that winning in practice isn’t worth a thing, outrunning faster cars to win the pole for the Jiffy Lube 300.

Labonte drove his Chevrolet to the pole for the running Sunday of the Jiffy Lube 300 - the NASCAR Busch Grand National season finale - by turning a lap of 139.074 mph at the 1.51-mile Metro-Dade Homestead Motorsports Complex. Chad Little of Spokane qualified ninth at 137.826 mph.
