Gospel Singer In Critical Condition

Gospel singer Kirk Franklin was in critical condition after falling off a stage during a performance.

Franklin, leader of the group Kirk Franklin and the Family, fell into the orchestra pit Friday night while performing at a performance hall near the Cook Convention Center.

Regional Medical Center officials wouldn’t disclose Franklin’s injuries, but hospital spokesman Rick Roberts said Friday night that the 26-year-old Ft. Worth, Texas, native is in critical condition.
