Renowned writer Donald Hall, whose work ranges from poetry to children’s books, will read twice at Whitworth College this weekend.

Hall will read from his poetry at 8 p.m. Friday at Whitworth’s Cowles Auditorium. At 10 a.m. Saturday, he will deliver a lecture titled “Multigenerational Reading for Children, Parents and Educators,” also at Cowles Auditorium.

A graduate of Harvard and Oxford universities, Hall is the author of more than 40 books. “Writing Well,” his text for beginning writers, has gone through eight printings.
