From Staff And Wire Reports

Police on Wednesday released the description of a man suspected of raping a woman in her north Spokane house this week.

A woman who lives in the 3300 block of West Kiernan told police a man attacked her on her porch about 7 p.m. Monday as she was arriving home.

She said the assailant then pushed her inside the house and raped her. The victim, who is in her 20s, said she ran outside after the rape and the man fled on foot.

The woman received medical treatment but was not hospitalized, police said.

The victim described her attacker as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He had a thin build, a short beard and mustache, thick dark eye brows and “beady” eyes.

He was last seen wearing a turquoise-colored ski coat, blue jeans and light-colored athletic shoes. , DataTimes MEMO: Cut in Spokane edition
