Greek/Roman Exhibit Continues At Museum

The exhibit “Treasure of Antiquities: Greek and Roman Art, From the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston” continues through December at Cheney Cowles Museum, 2316 W. First.

Admission: $4, $3 seniors, $2.50 for students and children age 6-16, $10 family.

Museum hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesdays, 1-5 p.m. Sundays; closed Mondays.

This week’s activities:

Today - Greek Constellation Planetarium Show at EWU Planetarium, 7-9 p.m., $10; limited to 50 people.

Saturday - Interactive Children’s Programs, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Sunday - Interactive Children’s Programs, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Sunday - Eli Nagy, University of Puget Sound professor, “The Message of Roman Funerary Sculpture.” 2 p.m.

Wednesday - Peter Ian Kuniholm, Cornell University professor, “What Mother Never Told Me about Dating or Long-Tree Chronologies,” co-sponsored by the Spokane Society of the Archaeological Institute of America, 8 p.m.
