‘101 Nights’ Author Full Of Advice

Laura Corn won’t reveal her age.

She’s being coy, of course. She’s flirting with someone who can give her the publicity that any author craves and most need.

Corn’s problem with publicity is compounded by the fact that she self-publishes. Of course, the Santa Monica, Calif., writer compensates by publishing books with catchy titles.

Titles such as “101 Nights of Grrreat Sex” and “101 Nights of Grrreat Romance,” both of which she’ll be hawking in Spokane on Wednesday.

Corn will appear with the KZZU Breakfast Boys from 7 to 10 a.m. where, according to promotions manager Mike Ellis, she should talk a lot about how men can help their mates have “bingos” - if you catch the drift.

Afterward, Corn will sign copies of both books from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at B. Dalton Booksellers downtown, 702 W. Main, and from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Auntie’s Bookstore, Main and Washington.

Corn says that she’s sold some 200,000 copies of her “Sex” book, at $29.95 a pop, and she has 25,000 copies of the “Romance” book in print. Show up, purchase a copy and she’ll likely sign it while telling you all the secrets that you can handle.

Maybe even her age.
