Gasoline Tanks Explode In Mexico
Two gasoline storage tanks exploded Monday, sending a tower of smoke thousands of feet over North America’s largest urban sprawl. At least 11 people were hospitalized.
The installation of Petroleos Mexicanos, the government oil monopoly, stores home cooking gas and gasoline. One of the tanks held 3.4 million gallons of gasoline; the other held 1.1 million.
