Public Hearing Set On Tribal Casino
Citizens will get a chance Thursday to tell state government officials what they think about a proposed casino in Airway Heights.
Kalispel Tribe leaders have won approval from Airway Heights officials to build the casino on a 40-acre piece of tribal land inside the city. A federal agency and Washington’s governor must also approve the casino.
Comments can be made to the state Gambling Commission during its public hearing at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cavanaugh’s River Inn, 700 N. Division. , DataTimes
