All Together: Just Say ‘No’ To Smoking

Get ready to scream.

The American Cancer Society is holding its first Great American SmokeScream Thursday as a chance for teens to say no to smoking - as loudly as they can.

Some schools are designating a time when the student body will let out a collective scream. You might find out if your school is involved before you let loose with a bellow.

Either way, Thursday is also The Great American SmokeOut, when the American Cancer Society urges people to quit smoking for a day, if not for a lifetime. Since 3,000 teens start smoking every day, the message is especially aimed at that age group.

So scream or not, don’t light up.
