Sony Pictures Plans To Sell Stock
Sony Pictures is headed for Wall Street.
Sony Corp.’s president, Nobuyuki Idei, confirmed Tuesday that the big electronics maker intends to sell stock in Sony Pictures Entertainment, the parent of Columbia and TriStar pictures.
“I don’t deny (our) intention to make the company public, but I can’t tell you when it will be,” Idei said at a news conference.
He did not say how large a stake Sony would sell.
