Marital Bliss Gets Torn By Celebrity Barb Wire

Compiled By Staff Writer Dan Web

But what about the tattoos?

That’s the burning question begging to be answered this morning as the world struggles to deal with the news that Pamela Anderson Lee is divorcing her rocker boy-toy Tommy Lee.

The improbable coupling, which began 21 months ago during a bikini-and-shorts ceremony on a Mexican beach, was broken Tuesday when “Baywatch” star Anderson Lee filed to dissolve the marriage because of, big surprise here, “irreconcilable differences.”

But you already know all that. Along with fact that they now have to figure out what to do with their 5-month-old son, Brandon.

But the tattoos? Lee and Anderson Lee have each others’ names tattooed on their ring fingers. Good luck.

Loose talk

Michael Jordan on the personal habits of the secure ‘90s male (to InStyle magazine): “I get manicures every 10 days, pedicures once a month. Maybe 20 years ago, I would’ve thought, ‘That’s feminine.’ But men have needs as well.”

Who’s turning 53 today? Oh, you mean that girl?

Marlo Thomas turns 53 today.

Which proves that, indeed, she could be a linebacker

If you never watch “Rosie,” then you missed the show last week where some 180 audience members showed up dressed looking like host Rosie O’Donnell. The group was chosen from some 2,000 fan who had submitted photos. At least one was a man.

He could start with a look at Johnny Cochran’s victory

It appears that Christopher Darden, who was so bitingly acerbic about the television “talking heads” who dared criticize his performance during the O.J. Simpson murder trial, soon may be the star of his own show. He’s negotiating with a network to host a program that would study famous court cases.

It’s filed on the same shelf as Simpson’s alibi

Speaking of criticism, the Arizona Republic has no kindness for “Unconquerable Will,” Mary Jo Buttafuoco’s proposed memoir that she calls “the story of a near-murder, an out-of-control media and a corrupt judicial system, and how one woman and her family survived it all.” “If it’s published,” the newspaper says, “look for it in the fantasy section.”

Looks like Greene will just have to E-mail his love

As you tune into “ER” tonight to see what happens between Drs. Mark Greene and Susan Lewis, we remind you that the New York Post is reporting that Sherry Stringfield, who portrays Lewis, is set to leave the show. “ER” producer Warner Bros., the Post reports, has agreed to a deal that will keep Stringfield off television for the next 2-1/2 years.

Now that is something that even his fans snicker about

Among the room-service requests that Michael Jackson made to the Australian hotel at which he stayed in the days before he married Debbie Rowe was an order for “massive quantities of M&Ms.”
